Pelle is part of the Product Strategy team in Product Center Short-Range at u-blox AG since May 2014 when u-blox acquired connectBlue.

Pelle worked for connectBlue since the start in 2000 and established the product distribution channel network in Europe and US. He established the North American office in 2006 and acted as President of connectBlue Inc. until October 2011 when he took on the connectBlue expansion into the Asia Pacific region as APAC Business Development Director. His overall motivating force and vision is to make every machine wirelessly connected.

Before connectBlue, Pelle worked for Ericsson and contributed to start Ericsson’s Bluetooth business and was deeply involved in marketing Bluetooth technology to become a worldwide standard. Earlier employments included various positions at Alfa Laval (Process automation, control and SCADA supervision systems).

Pelle Svensson holds an MS in Physics, Computer and Control Theory from The Faculty of Engineering (Lund University, Sweden).
