Gordon has over 35 years of experience building IoT initiatives, developing and leading path-breaking projects with many different kinds of organizations, including governments, industrials, utilities. Gordon’s experience encompasses a wide range of disciplines, from technology assessment to high-tech industry structural analyses and survey/data collection for quantitative and qualitative analyses of IoT.

Gordon consults to the executive office on projects that harness the power of data to solve complex problems. He’s worked with more than 50 major technology companies, including IBM, DEC, HP, Bechtel, Itron, Lockheed, IBM, Apple, International Electrotechnical Commission, The World Bank, United Nations, German national government, Canadian national government, Reuters, Metropolis, among others. Gordon has published hundreds of articles including in CFO Magazine, Urban Land, TIME Magazine, and Financial Times.
Gordon is the Founder of Meeting of the Minds, a global leadership network and knowledge-sharing platform focused on connected technology and innovation. Gordon serves as a Board Member and/or advisor for numerous leading organizations — including national and local governments; non-profits; private companies and startups.

Gordon holds a Masters from Columbia University New York City where he also received his undergraduate degree, Cum Laude. He was awarded the Lehman Fellowship; The Prime Minister Abe Fellowship; the Wallach Fellowship; the Dean’s Fellowship; and other awards.

Gordon brings four decades of experience helping governments and technology companies to work together as they jointly develop effective and affordable technologies. He is a resident of San Francisco and is widely recognized as a demonstrated leader.
