Behnam Dezfouli is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and Director of SCU IoT Research Lab, at Santa Clara University (SCU), USA. Before joining SCU, he was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa, US, during 2015 to 2016. Behnam Dezfouli served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and a Research Fellow for University Technology Malaysia, Malaysia, and Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore, during 2014 and 2012, respectively. He received his PhD in Computer Science from University Technology Malaysia in 2014. His research interests are Internet of Things, software-defined networking and virtualization, security, and cyber-physical systems. He is currently an associated editor of IEEE Communications Letters journal. He has also served as the TPC member of several conferences.
