WiFi IoT devices suffer from high delay and energy consumption when sharing access point with other devices. To address this problem, we propose packet scheduling algorithms implemented in WiFi access point. This session presents an algorithm to compute per-packet priority to arbitrate the contention between the transmission of IoT packets. It also presents a predictive scheduling algorithm to manage the sleep/wake-up schedule of IoT devices based on current buffering and channel conditions.
