SC1: Improving Well-Being Within Buildings: Differential Pressure & IAQ Sensors in HVAC

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Using flow-through differential pressure (DP) sensors and IAQ sensors in the context of HVAC systems can maximize efficiency and comfort in our lives. Since flow-through DP sensors allow for reliable, fast and stable measurements, especially at very low pressure differences, they are ideal to be used in a variety of applications such as VAV control, filter monitoring and IAQ where the precise measurement of DP provides valuable system information. In this session, attendees learn about different use-cases in HVAC systems where flow-through differential pressure sensors can be used and how the sensors are integrated into the corresponding systems. Attendees will walk away with an understanding of the working principle of flow-through differential pressure sensors and know the differences compared to membrane-based sensors regarding performance.
