MEMS and Sensor R&D is complex and fraught with risk. Today, Fortune 100 MEMS companies are turning to new engineering paradigms that leverage Cloud Engineering Simulation and AI/ML techniques to explore massive design spaces, find optimum and robust designs, and build advanced AI/ML calibration and compensation algorithms using simulated datasets that correct for manufacturing variances, environmental variances, and usage variances over the lifetime of the product. This session examines novel methods for MEMS and sensor design and optimization and how to mitigate cost, risk, and time-to-market by leveraging the latest techniques in Cloud Engineering Simulation and AI/ML. It also explains how to use simulated datasets to train AI/ML algorithms to calibrate and compensate complex sensor systems in real-world use cases.
